Haldimand Norfolk Housing Corporation (HNHC) is seeking a Norfolk County resident interested in contributing their experience, knowledge, and community perspective as a member of our Board of Directors.

HNHC provides community housing across Haldimand and Norfolk Counties and is governed by an eight-member Board of Directors, with equal representation from each County. Board members provide governance and strategic oversight while helping guide HNHC as we continue to grow and respond to changing housing needs in our communities.

We welcome applicants from a variety of professional and community backgrounds. Experience in areas such as finance, property or construction, social and community services, municipal or public-sector work, human resources, governance, planning or development can be valuable — but just as important is an interest in housing and a commitment to serving the community.

Time commitment: The Board normally meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the HNHC office in Simcoe. There are no regular meetings in July or August, although special meetings may occasionally be scheduled.
